4.12.2025 - SEND Christmas Coffee Morning
Yesterday we welcomed our SEND parents for a really valuable coffee morning.
Together we explored how using growth-mindset language helps every child move forward—whether that’s celebrating small steps, recognising effort, or reframing challenges as opportunities to learn. These approaches aren’t just helpful for children with SEND; they benefit every learner in our school.
We also reflected on the image below, which captures an important truth; when we clear a path for children with additional needs, we clear a path for all children.
The support, adaptations and strategies we put in place for SEND pupils strengthen the classroom environment for everyone—socially, emotionally and academically.
As a fully inclusive school, we are proud of the richness our SEND children bring to our community. They are valued members of our classrooms who contribute, inspire and help shape better practice for all.
Inclusion is not an extra—it is who we are.
And when we work together with understanding, empathy and the right mindset, every child thrives.
