UK Parliament Week
This week was UK Parliament Week. Each day, the children have learnt about the UK Parliament and on Thursday, the children enjoyed Parliament Day. After being organised into political parties, they then set to the task of creating a manifesto so that the political party who gained the most votes could run the classroom in the afternoon. Unfortunately, there was a hung parliament with both, ‘P.E. Power’ and ‘The Creative Party’ gaining six votes each. After a discussion, they decided to create a coalition and Ava took on the role of Class Prime Minister – what a great job she did!
